Need a bigger Lift..

Ok so I have a 6 inch Superlift. Not high enough.

What would be the best idea...bigger sus lift? Or a 3inch body lift?

They are basically going to cost the same..since the BL will be more labor instensive.

I found an 8inch Rize lift...but spending 4gs for 2 inches...well, not worth it IMO. Any other sus lifts for our dodges? If so, I cant find them!

I have been asking this same question myself

Looking to see what some options are. A 3" body lift is what I was thinking as well. 9 inches total is nice.

Kelderman kits start at about 6gs and go up from there allot of options. A fully optioned out 12inch kit goes well over 12g's.

Kilderman Air Ride Lift kits can give you up to 12inches of pure sweet ride.

But if ya wanna do it as cost effective, get a 2 inch spacer and stuff that on top of your 6 inch super lift springs.

My buddy has a 6" Superlift. Last week he added a 2'' spacer in the front and an add-a-leaf in the rear. Made a big difference.

never heard you couldnt do body and suspension before i know a TON of people that do it and dont recall any problems. i dont see why you couldnt do it but if someone was told that its a bad idea might be worth looking into for a "just in case" factor ya know

You can do both, it just puts a lot of stress on the bolts. So yes it's not as strong as stock, plus your GC is a bit higher. I think the bigger issue with today's trucks is the fact that they have 50 millio miles of wires, and half the stuff is bolted to the body, not the frame. Like how the new fan shroud is mounted to the engine, not the radiator, so you lift it, wont' align. new trucks def. take a Lot of work to get it perfect. I like suspension lifts, you get more out of them lift, travel, blah blah blah.

If you're going to be doing any actual 4x4ing with the truck... where the frame will flew a lot. Body lifts are a bad idea. I doubt you're raising it for that though.

i have had a body lift in my 03 for just about 90xxxkm on not issues at all. No body flex and no bolts have come loose. I installed mine myself and as long as you take your time and read the instuctions they good in nice and easy. I also have a 6" suspension and with 37's it still rides nice but sits alot high than the other trucks in the area. I still might install a 2" spacer in mine so i can have a 11" lift and then i can install some 42's with hopefully no rub.

I had 2" spacers on top of my 6" Superlift kit. Gave me the dreaded death wobble to no end. It actually scared me, and that was a bad feeling. Any decent bump would cause it, so I pulled the spacers the first chance I got. My 3" body lift wasn't too bad to put on, but would have been ALOT easier with a 2nd person to help here and there.
