Do I need a bigger turbo?

Look at sig, Truck runs good but smoke is not cleaning up. Still leaves a nice trail under WOT. Is this ok or could I pull some more HP out of the little fuel I have left to play with?

Thanks

I'd say upgrade the turbo and then up the fuel.

I think I am going to stay single for a while because of the price of twins would be out of my budget. I dont care about lag that much at all. I can always boost it off of the line. I rarely tow anything. Throw some suggestions at me

A full on HX40 maybe? One of the b1 series possibly.

I light up my hx40/16 just fine. I'd say you have plenty enough fuel for one.

the only way to clean up smoke is with more boost... how much boost are you making now?

Well on when I first floor it, boost is about 42 then it climbs to mid-high 40s by the time I am shifting to O/D.

I am in the same boat. although I think my boost #s are a tad higher. Does any one make a shaft with a bigger turbine wheel for a 35? I have a 60mm pinwheel also.

the HX40 will fit your 35, just gotta machine the turbine housing... but if you're gonna take that leap, I'd just go with a 16w housing for it.

I have a 16 non wastegated housing will it work with the hx40 shaft? Will it build to much boost with the nwgate?

you will have to have the housing machined... and for what it will cost you in time/energy to have that done, I would just put a 16cm wastegated HX40 turbine housing on it...
