My Current setup - Opinions?

Just wanted to share the current setup on my truck and see what the pros recommend/ thinkg Basically I want a safe setup with good power ( what everyone wants ) so if anyone thinks something isn't safe let me know.

2005 CTD 3500 Crew Cab LB SRW

3" Lift front 1" Rear, BFG 315/70/17 A/Ts

Magnaflow 5" Turbo back exhaust (LOUD)

Diablosport Predator/Powerpuck Stacking Bundle - on the Extreme setting

The truck is fast when I switch the puck the the highest setting, but doesn't do crazy burnouts like some guys on here say their trucks do.

I know I should get an EGT and Trans temp gauge, and that is in the works just trying to find the cheapest place to get the combo....

Ive been reading on "boost foolers" and I assume what they do is make the truck boost more, would it be safe to add one to my current stack?

I am thinking about doing an intake upgrade but don't know if its worth it and don't want to spend on a bunch of money on one either.

Let me know what you guys think, I will try to get some pictures soon!

Sounds like a pretty good setup you should take off that big old muffler and get yourself an airraid Jr. Kit and you'll be good. Gauges fo to dieselmanor.com they have good prices. Good luck.

Do you mean replace the Magnaflow muffler with an Airraid Jr. kit? Is that a quieter 5in muffler that flows the same or better?

Thanks!

You need a laminated/billet flex plate, Good Torque Converter, modded valve body as a minimum. What are your current boost levels....you don't have a clue cause ya need a boost gauge also . Get the gauges first and stay off extreme until you do. I can do a burnout on Smarty SW1 with my tranny on a stock turbo. Oh yeah with an aggressive stack like you have a bigger turbo is a necessity. Once you get the gauges and tranny done get a boost fooler. ks

I am about 30psi ( what it shows on the programmers)

Where can I purchase the tranny upgrades or were to send the parts to get upgraded?

Also I don't want to do anything major like turbo, intercooler, etc. If I get to a point where I can get anymore power I will just stay happy with that

Sorry I didn't see that you already modified your exhaust.
