I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 5.9 diesel dually with smoke stacks. Need a muffler to reduce the loud noise. Thanks

 

They are nearly identical. It really becomes an issue of length to make it quieter. 50" Donaldson or Nelson will be your best bet

 

I have the donaldson 51", love the sound and no drone with my 5" at all while hauling heavy. I am very pleased with it. Pretty cheap too.

 

love my 51" Donaldson. My advice is to make sure what you are getting. When I was researching these mufflers the Nelson cross didn't flow the same as the Donaldson.

 

Yes, I think the only thing when I researched what flowed the highest volume of air....the only step above the donaldson was a straight pipe. From what I found the donaldson was the highest flowing of anything and no drone...big plus.
