MSD digital propane or other propane system on an 05
I am considering adding propane to my 05 dodge for the hp and mileage. I ran a system for 3 yrs on my ford diesel with very few problems and great results.
I s any body out there running propane on an 05 and what systtem are you using. I am considering the MSD system because of the all the fact that it monitors the computer system of the truck before injecting propane into the system.
Give me some opinions nad or experiences.
thanks

I might try N20, but for power and mileage, I like the Quadzilla, and the TST
I'm not a big fan of propane, but I think the MSD system is the best one so far. The older systems were not as "smart". I wish MSD would release a little more info about how they programmed it. Ideally, there should be very little propane fed at low RPM (below peak TQ) at any boost level, but as soon as RPM comes up the feed can be rapidly increased under light loads (low boost) to maximize diesel fuel economy. Under heavy loads not as much propane should be fed into the engine, which is the opposite of how most systems do it. MSD's system could be programmed like this, but so far they ain't talking.
I was really trying to do reseach on this system from MSD. It looks good and seems that it will work real well with all the media stuff that they have posted. The best quote so far on that system that I have gotten was from sfxperformance for 736.00 plus shipping.
I finally bit the bullet and bought a ats torque pro system yesterday and will install next weekend.
