Question MSD Popane System

Has anbody tried the propane system on a 2002 dodge 3500 HO cummings and what results and was it worth the money' positive and neg results'?

I think propane sucks. Tank is big, hard to find sometimes and it seems limited. Water/meth is a much better/popular alternative. You could even go with nitrous if you want BIG power.

Propane works well if setup properly, but is a pain when it comes to the tank. If power increases are limited to 75 to 100 hp it is safe, except on the ETH (HO) engine. With a higher compression ratio and more advanced timing, it's easy to blow a head gasket using propane on an ETH.

Oh no....you didn't.......yup, you did.....you attached that wretched "g" on the end of Cummins.

Anyway, welcome to the board!

IMO, propane is out. It is simply too easy, cost-effective and simple to get the power out of additional fueling on these 2nd gen 24v's....injector technology has come a long way and there are more modules and programmers than you can shake a stick at.....and you don't have to mess with a big propane tank.
