Mpi Stocker/s400 Questions

How long does install take? Anyone have pics of it? How big of injectors to run with it? Does the kit come with aftermarket exhaust manifold and if so which one?

It took me a couple evenings to install..Fairly easy for the DIYr...Great instructions..The only extra thing I needed was a coupler for the exhaust.

It has the HTT manifold with the kit.

I'm shooting for Flux 2's, after the dual cp3 install.

IMO Flux 2's are a perfect match for the stocker/S400 setup.

Would there be any kind of issue towing heavy? Also, would there be any problem running an inline Pacbrake exhaust brake with this set up? If you know the answer that would be great, or maybe Nathan will answer. Thx.

I have that setup. I've ran it on stock sticks (no smoke, great EGT's) 110DDP's (very little smoke and 644HP, 12.20's at 110) and now with Flux 3.5's (high egt's but they still clean up the smoke after start up).

I tow 10k-14k lbs and have had no problems. I usually detune the truck to stock programming when towing heavy, but that's just to help save the tranny.

Not sure about the exhaust brake.

I asked the same thing a while ago, and PacBrake responded that the inline doesn't work quite as well, but is still very good. They offer a 4" and 5" inline version I believe. Someday, this is what I plan to go with...

Is the HTT manifold included in that $3600 price? Or is it extra?

Inline brakes work with the kit. Placement and welded joints are critical for proper function though. From what I've seen PacBrake is correct about the inlines versus the turbo mounted units but the turbo mounted units severely restrict the fun.

like said manifold included. I think everything is included. lots of misc stuff in the box. Just make sure to specify which model year truck you got. for the heater line. an specify IF you have an Aftermarket intercooler (3 1/2" in my case) Flux2 and stock/s400 work nicely together. low egts even at over 6000 feet elevation and super nice spool up.

Just my HTT manifold came with a little hole in it, from casting i think, hood compartment got sooty,

So 12 valve......

You started with a Stocker/S400 and flux 2's? and now have a 62/71 turbo and flux 4's right?

Can you tell me what differences you notice with the bigger top turbo? Is there any benefit besides the ability to go higher in power? Do you know what the drive pressure differences are? TIA
