More Stacks

I am getting ready to order my stacks and am having a hard time decideing on what size to get. Can someone show pics of 5, 6, and 7" mitre's. I can get the whole system for under 450 everyday so I just need to make a decision.

If you have websense or any other firewall/blocker software at work it might be blocking the pics.
Maybe someone abused the ole policies there and got caught looking at some **** or something

I like the rear shots to see how they look. I am thinking 6" for now. Any one else have some rear pics of stacks? Also does the size matter to much with the noise level, and does a muff nedd to be put in to tone the sharp noises?

If you pull alot of trailers, you may find yourself wanting a muffler. I can handle the drone in mine, but the drone can be a little much. You main drone level is at 2000-2300rpm, so if you drive in that range constantly, you will be in the drone level.

Yep, same here.

I dont pull many trailers though, and when I do, they arent usually too heavy.

I can stand the drone though, ive had loud cars ever since I started driving

If the drone bothers you, sound deadener helps quite a bit, I put some in my truck, and I just need to finish up the roof/front floor to complete it, its helped alot with resonance at certain rpms/load, where you get that constant drone for a few hundred rpms...

Like rip said, if you tow alot, or dont like the noise, a muffler will help you quite a bit. Just try it with no muffler, if its too loud add one to it, its easier to cut out some pipe and add it, then to use a muffler first, cut it off, replace with straight pipe, then decide its too loud again and put the muffler back on it

Im running no muffler, with 6" mitres and I think it sounds great. Id go with 6"ers just because IMO, 5" are too small, and 7" are a little overkill(and expensive), if I had the money though, id probably have 7"ers, I like bigger/better

Heres a little vid at idle, ill get a better one eventually
