more gauge questions???

Guys,
Looking to order my first set of gauges. I'm leaning towards the Dipricol Optix 2 gauge kit from Diesel Manor. EGT and 60psi Boost with the pillar mount for $349 shipped.
Questions are:
Should I go ahead and get 3 gauges and pillar mount? It seems to be cheaper to do now than wait and decide later.
If so, what should my third gauge be? (truck in sig)
My future mod plans are probably a Quad Std Box and some exhaust mods nothing radical...not looking for huge HP.
Anybody got the Optix, please tell me pros and cons, would you have done something different or went with something else all together?
Any help or opinions you all have please share.

Thanks....Greg

thought of that, but not too crazy about fuel coming inside cab with me. I think I remember a thread that talked like there were other ways to do this though?
Would just EGT and Boost be sufficient or do I NEED fuel pressure?
Anybody with some Optix want to chime in?

There is an DiPricol Optix rail fuel pressure that is electronic that sees the common rail high pressure fuel. I have one an definitely like it.
I also have 3 Autometer gauges mounted in a three pod overhead in front of the rear view mirror. They are fuel, oil and air pressure. Fuel (for lift pump 0-30 psi) and oil are electric; the air is mechanical.

since your still running the stock lift pump i would go with the fuel pressure gauge. but i'm not sure if isspro makes an electric fuel pressure gauge. my autometer 0-100 psi fuel pressure gauge is electric so no fuel even have to leave the lines going to the CP3.

Just installed DiPricols in the pillar, boost, pyro and fuel pressure. FP is good to have if you do a few mods later, I didn't use an isolator, used a needle valve instead, pics in my gallery.
No complaintts from Diesel Manor, got mine there.

I have had my lift pump changed to the in tank kind due to failure a few months back, but yes still running stock LP.

Would you still go with the Fuel Pressure gauge over the Rail Pressure gauge?

Still got a couple more days before I order, so keep the comments coming...

Thanks

I'm no expert, but I think you want to keep an eye on the pressure TO the injector pump to start with, especially since it's only about 8 psi with the factory lift pump.

If you go nuts with mods you may want to monitor the rail pressure, or this is how I understand it to be, I'm still learning myself!

Thats what im doing....

After I get a glacier pump, ill do a fuel pressure guage, then when I get heavier into the mods, rail pressure...

I wouldnt worry about rail pressure too much on a pretty stock truck, well not not worry, but just not as important as checking up on the stock lift pump(or aftermarket pump)
