Mopar Exhaust Brakes
Mopar Exhaust Brakes
As soon as DC releases the Jacobs Exhaust Brakes for sale and installation, I plan to get one. According to the Cummins website, the exhaust brake comes with a drilled and tapped hole for mounting a pyrometer. I guess this would be considered a post-turbo pyrometer since the E-brake is installed after the turbo outlet. What would be the max. EGT reading at this location and still be considered "safe"? Does anyone know for sure? Thanks.
