Question Mods

I don't know much about diesels and mods. I plan on buying a 2005 this coming feb and plan on doing some mods on it and don't plan on spending alot of money other than the mods. I plan on puting on edge with attitude and 17in mudders. Do I have to do any upgrade to the trany or anything else with this?
Other things would be the chrome package, brush gard and side panals.

you may want to post this in the 3rd gen section. 1st gen only covers until 1993.

If it is an automatic(48re), consense seems it will hold about 100hp in performance mods before you need to upgrade.

If a manual, then a HD clutch is probably advised at about the same hp performance level. Don't have experience with manual, but do have with the auto.
