A BHAF or an AFE stage 2?

 

Doesn't anyone know??????

 

I have the AFE Stage 2 and I took the ring out of the turbo and it is pretty loud. On real long trips it gets to be a little much when pulling for some. I don't mind it so it is prefrence.

 

I would bet that an afe stage 2 is louder, larger diameter intake / torque tube, I have afe stage 1 installed on my bhaf, it pretty loud but the other end ( magnaflow) evens it all out.

 

Can't answer on the BHAF. The AFE Stage 2 is LOUD. I can hear the turbo spooling almost immediately, even at low rpm.

 

My K&N FIPK is pretty loud and I still have the ring in the turbo!!! And the FIPK filters just fine.......I have the oil analyses to prove it!!!!! On the other hand, not too many trucks were louder than my '99 with tht straight pipe!!!! It was obnoxious loud!!!!

 

My BHAF w/ homemade torque tube is very loud. I see people turn their heads 50 yards away as I come driving up. They can't believe it's not a tractor trailer coming up the road.
