Unhappy Loss of torque

I put on a 5" exhaust tip ( 18" long) and I have seem to have caused some havok. Its shifting hard and is now hesitating for a second or two at around 3100rpm. Also it won't blow out anymore smoke. It just doesn't seem to have the same kick. Any comments or suggestions???

I don't think altering the tip should have any effect on the way it runs. I would have the dealer check it out. Maybe it was just coincindence and another problem conveniently reared it's ugly head.

take it off again, see if it gets back to normal, a tip should do nothing for performance, but will alter tone
