I am losing coolant from somewhere. There is no obvious leaks and the motor is running fine. There is no coolant in the oil.I have looked all over the engine and no visible leaks. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for the help guys.

Buckhead, Ga..... My father lives there..... Anyhooo, check the overflow line under the radiator cap. They will weap from there. A good size tie strap will fix that right up. Another place to look is at the heater hose behind/above the turbo. Re-adjust it is what most folks do, or replace the hose.

there are a couple hoses on that side. down low. you should let us know in what general area of the motor it is leaking. it would help us out.

Thats just it I dont know if it is leaking coolant. I dont think I have a blown headgasket that would be noticable. It is not running any different, other than a slight puff of white smoke in the mornings when I first start the truck.

Do you mean with like a pair of pliers or by hand? There is no visible leak but that is what I have my fingers crossed for it to be.

I have the same problem I think, never really looked at coolant level until a few weeks ago, was pretty close to add line. But one thing I noticed, the coolant level changed a good 1" from when the truck was sitting for a few days compared to a few hours. No noticable leaks here either, waiting on a oil analysis.

I've had to replace the rad in my 06. The leak was hard to find but a seam on the tank was leaking, it was a no fix and had to just go ahead and put a new rad in. I also had coalnt lines that were not all that tight near the turbo, I would check there first as mentioned above.

Look at this https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...6&postcount=12

Use the cursor to move the upper picture into view. You can't see the upper pic till you do.

This is where 99% of our leaks are from.
