Lorenz suspension
I hate to sound like a sales man and have waited a while to give both
systems their fair shake. Lorenz all the way! I can compare the kore to
Lorenz because I've had both under my truck, by far go with Lorenz. Lorenz
springs are better and defiantly service is unmatched compared to kore.
I travel anywhere from 200-350 miles off-road every day in North West New
Mexico for work. 5 days a week these suspensions are/were put to the real
test. The kore did not handle the terrain like I wanted. I sold the kore
"Race", pocketed some cash, and bought the Lorenz 2.5 setup. I have not been disappointed yet with this Lorenz setup. So far I have had the Lorenz 2.5 setup for 43,000 miles and it is working like a proven suspension for me. I
recently bought another truck that will be getting Lorenz new 2.25 setup.
Since this truck will not come close to seeing the off-road miles my work
truck gets, the 2.25 system should fit the bill.
Here's a link to the story and all of the woes I've had with my kore system. http://www.turbodieselregister.com/f...d.php?t=156197
You can not go wrong with Lorenz in my opinion and from my daily off
roading experience.

I know this thread is a bit old, but question, will Carli make a leveling kit up for a bit cheaper, and not include the mini packs for the rear? Im looking to just upgrade rear shocks, front coils, and front shocks.

Scotty,
Call Sage tomorrow and tell him you just want coils and shocks.....even if you don't do the mini packs, you'll definitely want the sway bar links.
Tell him I sent ya......he'll hook you up.

Good deal Conrad. I shot Sage an email now. I would really like a full kit, but I just know I won't use it to its full potential, and the money spent would be a waste. I will definetly do the sway bar end links too. Thanks Conrad, I knew you'd chime in

Suspension upgrades.
If you can swing the Lorenz or Carli packages w/mini-paks,by all means do. The mini-paks complete the system and smooth out the ride, increase wheel travel while still carrying approx. the same load. I've got the Lorenz 2.25 setup w/23% H.D. coils. I initially had my Firestone Ride Rites inflated to 40psi. but have lowered them now to 15psi. The mini-paks support the load much better than the stock setup. Zero squat in rear. I would have liked to use the I.R. coils but that would have necessitated adding a small block to the rear or increasing the bags to max psi. thus rendering them bumpstops. Sean's got some nice upgrades for what he charges.
