Looked at the new 2008 F250 Twin Turbo (Hummer)
Last night I stopped by the local Nissan dealership and had a look at all their lifted heavy duty trucks. For some reason the Nissan dealership is going crazy with these big diesel trucks and have them tricked out more than any Ford dealerships I've been to.
Anyway, they had a brand new 2008 F250 with only 600 miles sitting on their used car lot. It had a custom 6" lift (since lift kits aren't out for them yet) and some serious wheels and tires. The salesman didn't know the total price, but he said there was about $20k in options alone that they did to it. It was a nice looking truck, but very Hummer'ish looking inside. I also noticed the boost gauge only read 40 psi, which I thought was kind of low for a twin turbo. The biggest contrast between that truck and ours is once you look under the hood. Anyone over 5 years old would be hard pressed to find a spot under the hood that would accomodate more they 3 fingers and maybe a thumb!
I'm sure they were wanting $70-80k for it. It's a nice truck, but not THAT nice!
Oh, and the slide out step with the raising handle built into the tailgate was a little corny, but creative none-the-less.

Yes. You can't miss it, there's 4 black lifted Ford Heavy Duties sitting at the front entrance. The one on the right (as you pull in) is the 2008. What originally caught my eye while driving down the interstate was the gray Cummins with the orange flames. I went back to look at it (ended up being kinda lame) and then looked at the Fords. They definitely stand out!

I know what you mean, my brothers shop just got their 6.4L race truck and they have it striped down to only the frame, engine, tranny etc... and it looks like a pain to work on!!!

Our dealer in Idaho has two of them on the lot one is a dually and one is a quad cab four door. The dually is $62000
and the other is 58000
Plus there is no extra cost for how ugly they look

When I first started looking for a truck to pull the ski boat, we stopped by there and played with some numbers on a Power Stroke King Ranch. They refused to tell me what the bottom dollar was on the truck or the trade-in. Instead, they just wanted to play numbers with the monthly payment. I told the salesman to tell the idiot behind the glass window he just lost a sale because of his attempt at sneaky math. Turned out OK because after test driving the Cummins I realized how much I disliked the Ford.
I was at my local dealer getting my rear seat latch fixed and walked back there with the service manager and they had a cummins with the cab up in the air removing a motor... Same way as the ferd's ... He blew his truck up he didn't say how but it was an 06..
