Locking rim lug nuts
Locking rim lug nuts
anyone know of any good locking nut nuts... A parts man told my about something called a grizzly lock that is very good... but he must have had the name wrong because Grizzly Products Inc. does not make locking lug nuts... put the parts man explained in detail how the locking lug nut works so I am pretty sure it exsist!!
I know - but I was in another town and don't know who the parts man was and a few phone calls and on else seems to know!!

Yeah what HO Cummins said, howver you can get them from DC. They are made by McGard. the worse case is that they will slow down a pro and just **** off the neighbor hood kids out to have fun
thats just it.. I know the Mcgard are really a joke... I commented on them them to the dealer and the dealer commented on some other locks that where a lot better... I know if someone really wants your rims they will find a way....
I will try to find out again what they guy was talking about.... it is the kids are just someone trying to do a fast one that I am trying to stop.....

Thieves very rarely steal wheels & tires today.......it's just too labor intensive.....they just steal your entire friggin' truck. Skip the locking lug nuts....they're a joke unless it's to secure a spare for say, a Jeep Liberty or other SUV.

Sorry to hear about your wheel.
Instead of Grizzly, you might mean Gorilla lugs. I have a set of Weld 18" wheels and use Gorilla locking lugs. I guess you could hammer on a socket or use a vice grip, but at 135lb of torque, it wouldn't be too easy. Just a preventive method to keep it from being TOO easy to steal. Not to mention the tires and wheels seem to weigh about a hundred pounds each. Or at least if feels that way trying to get them on...
TP
Hope this helps. I'm very satisfied.

p.s. I went to America's Tire Store/Discount tire and got them for a couple bucks. I think they were much less than a buck each. And got an extra key to match, along with a couple spare lugs nuts. They gave me a deal since I've gotten tires there for many years on multiple vehicles.
