Well i finished installing my retrofit projector HIDs tonight, and i have a quirky problem. when i open my door the HIDs flash really quick, and make a quick "pop" sound when they ignite.

i cant figure out why they try to ignite to come on when my door is opened. obviously power is being sent bc the overhead lamp in the cad comes on, but why the ignition of the lamps for a split second? any help is greatly appreciated.. i dont wanna burn out the bulbs or pop them premature!!

i have resistors on each side of the truck. (2 for each lamp), so i have no flickering or lamp out problems, and when the truck is running, the lights work awesome. just this quirk when the door opens or i unlock with the remote.
