Which Light bar, Randy Ellis or Pro Bar?!?!?!?!?

I really cant decide. They are both $200, both can hold (4) lights and both have there up's and down's.

The Pro Bar: I like b/c it sits higher, fog lights almost reach the hood, and somewhat protects the headlights in a way and kind of looks meaner too. I dont like the fact that it looks like a moustache and the little think brackets holding the bar.

The Randy Ellis: I like it b/c its plain and simple, has the CANDY CHROME POWDER COAT. I dont like the fact that it sits low. So what do you guys think looks the best and would prob look the best on my truck:

PRO BAR:

Randy Ellis:

If the only reason you like the Randy Ellis is because of the color, get the other one and paint it!! The design of both is pretty simple. You can always beef up the brakets too.

Personally I like the Pro Bar It looks more mean (as you said) and protects the front end a little more (but you should probably still beef up the brackets!)

What's the difference in price?

Randy ellis = $199
Pro Bar = $212

So pretty much the same

But I think the lighter cars looks better with the randy ellis tho, I dont know, what do you think on my truck? How can you beef up the brackets? By welding some more steel on it?

Then I'd definetly go with pro bar. Do you plan on lifting/wheeling yours? Beef it up by welding thicker brackets, It's hard to tell plate thickness on photos, but that would be a start. If you wheel yours, then you should probably go wtih the one with more clearance!

no, absolutly not, Im not going to lift it or any form of wheeling or offroading. The pic of the red truck is what the stock ride height and thats what its going to stay at, ill just put some beefier tires like the one on the pic.

Seems I'm out voted, but I'd say the Pro Bar would look great on your truck with some beefier tires. Don't get me wrong, though. I think you have two great looking choices. You can't go wrong w/ either one of those. Just MHO.

I don't like the Pro Bar because it looks Cheap. At least the Randy Ellis look fluid to the front end and not like this (above the lip):

Yeah, I immediately thought of that image when I saw that Pro Bar.

I wouldn't consider a 'Light Bar' to be anything other than that. If you want protection, buy a Pre-Runner such as this ($309):

That way you have the protection, the look and not a funky front end!

Get the bar that will best suit your needs!

Also, check this link for some other Pre-Runners on Dodges:

Hope this helps confuse you more!! Naw, just kidding! Hope it clears the air for options!

I went with the Randy Ellis, but had to modify it to get my Bodiak hitch on there for my Warn. I love the light bar

First of all, where is it for $309
Second of all, I like the pre-runner light bar a lot, but it doesnt look good on a stock ride height truck IMO
