I finished installing my HBS leveling kit and Bilsteins this morning. The whole job took about three hours. I have been driving around all day and the truck tracks straight as an arrow. No pulling under braking conditions either. I know that many paople get the truck aligned after a job like this. Should I take it in for an alignment or not? It seems to work awsome. Huge difference in ride quality but it is probably a mix between the larger tires and the Bilsteins. Worth the $600 for tires,shocks, and spacers.

 

because of the way the tie rod / drag link is designed on our trucks your toe in is probably slightly off.. Mine was...

 

Just set the toe and let her go.

Most shops will do an alignment check and set toe pretty cheap.

 

was your ride quality better or worse?

 

Ride quality is better. It rides much smoother now.
