Leveling kit question.. Need alignment??

I just had my truck aligned about a month ago cause it was pulling slightly right. I just ordered a leveling kit from Hell Bent Steel and they said I should get an alignment. If I dont remove the sway bar or the track link is an alignment necessary? I have 22inch black KMC wheels on my truck and I hate hate hate them putting that alignment tool on my wheels. If I have to i guess I have to im just trying to avoid it. Im only disconnecting the shocks and the shock tower. I dont see why the position of the front end would change at all. maybe the tow on it would come in a bit but im not sure.

Nick

Hey first time one here. But i have done 2 2nd gen 2500 that i have and i had them both aligned and i didnt need it only thing is my steering wheel was off center. I would say no u dont need it all you are doin is pushing the axle downand just loosed clamps on steering arm and turn the turnbuckle to straighten steering wheel. JMO i wouldnt get one. Good luck Also use some cheap spring compressors and lift truck up by axle put compressors on and tighten down a bit then lower axle with jackstands on frame behind control arms saves a lot of time and adgitation

yes. you have to remove the sway bar to drop the axle down far enough to get the kit in. plus you are changing angles on steering etc.

yes you need to do it tell them to jam your camber as far forward as you can with a leveling kit cuz the axle will be rotated backwards a little bit

How bad will it be off if I dont do it? I need new tires anyhow. Maybe ill wait till I put all 4 on and maybe theyll throw in a free alignment. Places charge like 130 for an alignment on a truck. Its a rip off and I just had it done... darn
