I used a steel 2" spacer kit on my 01 for several years. It held up perfectly even with all the rough terrain I go over. This is the brand I used

Did it kill your ride quality ? I have 2.5 inch coil spacers on my 4runner and it stiffed up the front pretty hard.... I would like to put a leveling kit on my 3500, but am leaning towards springs .

???

On your 4Runner the spacer (or one of 2 spacers) probably went between the coils spring and the top of the coilover assembly, preloading the spring too much. On the Dodges this doesn't happen.

I had 2inch spacers on my 2500 but went with 3inch spacers and chaged out the shox with Ranch 9000's now it rides like a caddy. By thu way if someone says 2inch spacers wont chage ride quality its a lie cuz it rode like a tank.

So your saying that the 3inch spacer rides 100% better than the 2inch spacer? Or did you mean you took out the spacer and replaced then with new 3inch taller coils?

No I am not lying, I drive my trucks across rough ranch roads everyday all day and it did not change my ride at all. How would it you are not stiffing the spring you are just adding a spacer on the top of it. A three inch spacer will have the front of your truck facing up and the tail of your truck down.

mine rides just like factory. I've got revtek 2" coil spacers. I really want 6" and 37's, but have to keep it close to stock to pull the 5vr.

I'm running the Hell Bent Steel 2" spacers and like them alot. Truck rides like factory, but doesn't bottom out on speedbumps anymore. It looks much better too.

Since spring rates don't change with a spacer, the only way a spacer should affect ride quality is if you continually top the stock shock.

I have a daystar leveling kit I believe. I got fox reservoirs too so Im really excited. I did not want to lift my dually four inches and I rode in my buddys leveled dodge and I loved it. Its not some amazing suspension obviously but Its a lot better than stock. He had stock shocks which is horrible and I upgraded to reservoirs so I think my truck will ride really good.
