I just smogged mine a few days ago. Why this update? The guy didn't even plug into my comp, he just entered the info into his comp, blipped the throttle a few times and I paid $38. After I left, I went to the nearest parking lot I could find and re-installed my Smarty. All is well again. I never got any notice from Dodge also.

They aint putting this k01 crap on my truck and i will punch the tech that tried to. Mountianers are always free

Got lucky, recieved 2 notices in the mail about K01, tried to put it off. Made an appt with dealer to check out my leaking CP3 and they also said I was due for the K01, told him I have heard of problems with it, he offered not to do it and made a note in computer for tech to not do it, we'll see what happens.

trust me if I could have avoided the flash I would have.
DMV placed a hod on my registration. I had revieved notices for the last 18 months or so up until the mog test the other day.

Now I"m just waiting and hoping MADS will update the smarty for the new flash, at the moment my truck is sitting, no fun to drive with my smarty.

How does one know what update you have?

I bought the truck... 3 months ago and took the truck to the dealer and they put whatever update on 3 modules on the truck...
