Bob suggested that I run the SAMRTY without my Quad for a while to see how my EGT's react. Dont quite know why but I will do what the manufacture says...
What kind of problems might I encounter when I do use my Quad??? Can I get the timming taken out of my Quad or am I stuck with two tunners that add timming?

Congrats! a lot of people run the quad for adjustability and the smarty on even numbers....bob probably just wanted you to get a baseline appreciation for the smarty before stacking it......

Try the smarty on a odd number by it's self, get track of your egt's / boost / ...and then try with the quad / even numbers.....

Just run the even number SWs that dont any additional timing and you will be fine....

My truck was perfect w/out my XZT, I sold it shortly after getting the Smarty because I had no use for it. The Smarty worked that well for me...

hey just got my smarty today! wow!!!!! i will never put a bullydog back on my truck(not knocking it). was very impressed! a buddy has a bullydog stacked with edge and on 3 on the ez and crazy larry i still walked him on sw7!

Speaking of timing, should I set the tone ring back to stock before I load Smarty? It's advanced at this point.

 

I would think so...between the 3 devices, you definately have too much timming.

 

stock 06 on sw9=461 hp on the dyno. that speaks for itself to me. ive seen lots of trucks with stacked modules not produce that
