Just got my new HID's WOW!

Amazing difference in light quality and brightness. Is there any way to get rid of the lamp out light on my dash or turn it off. Also I got some led lights part #3157 for the parking lamps/turn signal and they wont work. They produce absolutly no light any clue as to whats going on?

I'm not sure if HID headlamps require some kind of resistor or not. I still have halogen bulbs in my Ram but I did the HID conversion on my '98 F150 and never had a lampout light in the dash. I've got led bulbs for my turn signals and they work but required resistors to keep from causing lamp out. But yours don't even work? I don't know maybe they're just bad bulbs? I saw a Ram the other night with blue HID's that looked really sharp and his fogs were bright yellow. Not sure if they were yellow HID or not but the contrast looked really good imo.

What kind of HID's did you go with. I'm looking to upgrade the lights, and want to keep the stock lenses

I will look at the box in the morning. The relay only reads off of one OEM headlight plug. The other is left open and unplugged. It does require a resistor to trick the computer voltage. They are 8000k

I got mine on Ebay. Look for H13 Bi-xenons. These are hi/low beam. Think I payed $145 for mine.

So these HIDs are a direct bulb replacement that use the existing headlamp housing and lens?

Yes, you get 2 burners (bulbs), 2 ballasts, and wiring harness. The kit uses one of the factory bulb plugs as a switch for the relay. The other stays unplugged.
