New Guy-New thread-Old Questions
I have a "98" 12 valve CTD, 99k miles, auto tranny. Use it for towing my jeeps, with a 9 1/2' cabover on it.
I just installed a Banks Stinger Plus system. 4" exhaust(new muffler and tailpipe, trying to purchase downpipe now). Larger turbo housing/wastegate. and fuel plate.
1st question: When I get into the throttle and then let off it sounds like something is rubbing. Is this the waste gate shutting? Wasn't there before!
2nd question: I can only get 24in. of boost, thought I should be able to get mid 30's. Whats up with that?
Anyone ran across this in their wrenching? Thanks for any help.
