Too much boost? Didn't know that there was such a thing?!
How much is too much? What do you have for a turbo?
What did that wastegate set you back?

i assume u have an aftermarket exhaust manifold, make sure when u weld it up u get someone who is good at welding on cast iron, the ones i have seen have the waste gate flange welded in the middle lower portion of the manifold

If you weld to the cast iron just make sure that you put a blow torch to heat it up to 400/500 F. before you weld.PLUS don't get it too hot, just enough to set the weld.
