I'm thinking about getting the Juice/Attitude for my CTD but I have a few questions before I pull the trigger. I sure would like some advice from you guys that have done the same or are about to.

I'm wondering about the intercooler ends that are now plastic. Do you think there will be a problem running with this box? Im concerned about some things I've heard about the ends blowing out when subjected to boost in the low to mid 40's.

I would also like to know if you are still happy with the Juice/Attitude, if you had it to do over again would you have gotten something else?

Best product iv'e used for towing, constant 1-2 mpg gain. If your' worried about the ends just set the max boost to whatever you want, i set mine at 34.

I didn't know the boost was adjustable.

One quick question about the boost. When you reach the 34 lbs of boost does it defuel smoothly?

I must say I like the info about the Xzillarator but since I'm gonna need guages anyway I'm thinking that the Juice/Attitude is the way to go for me.

Yah its pretty cool you can set the max boost with the attitude controller off the topic sorta, Banks will have their new techni cooler out next month from what I hear and it will have metal endcaps for the 05

 

We've blown a couple of stock intercoolers on the 05's but it was never with a stock turbo. They seem to be doing alright up to about 35psi. You shouldn't have any problems with yours if you only run the juice w/ attitude.

Stock alarm setting on attitude is 36 PSI and I have never hit that pressure.
EGTs on dyno were good. I think the AFe intake may have helped keep the EGTs down a bit. I don't think they even went over 1200, but towing a long steep grade is another story. An Exhaust and transmission updrage are in the future.

 

What were your EGT's towing and how much were you pulling?
