It's time for a new lift pump!
Just did the Glacier with the big line kit. Big difference on the top end. I have the hot flash on my juice and when I pinned it before, it fell off on the top end with 0 reading on f/p. Now I am maintaining 14-15 lbs even at WOT. $500 well spent. The post above about have extra line is true, I have nearly enough left to do it over again. I bought the big line kit, but if I would have know ahead of time, I would have done the same and bought the fittings local and saved 50%.
The guy at BD power said I should just get the auxilliary lift pump kit instead of replacing the existing pump. He said that my pump is good or else it would lose power while going up hills and such and that the aux. pump would boost up my fuel pressure the way I want it. He also said that the 2003 doesn't have that expensive injector pump that gets ruined when you lose your lift pump. Said that my existing pump would last a long time if I put that aux pump on with it doing all the work. What do you guys think? Oh and get this...I called my local Dealer just to see if I would have a warranty and he said that the warranty goes with the truck no matter who owns it, which is good, but he says that he never heard of a 100,000 mile warranty. He said that all warrantys are 3 year/36,000 miles....whats up with that?
