Got my vulcan lift pump relocatoin kit in yesterday, now I just have to find time to get it installed. Also ordered their fuel pressure guage kit. I'm kinda excited to get the new stuff on the truck.

Good for you.

Mine sat in a box on my bench for about 6 weeks, think you can top THAT?!!

I like to make sure I have every possible base covered before I dive into a project, hate running out to the store for this and that.

Easy job. Do a quick search, you'll be able to read about alot of us putting on Relo / Big Line Kits.

Good Luck.

Yep, fuel systems are not an exciting project to install until you truck dies, then you are forced to......sometimes on the side of the road......don't ask me how I know. Anyway, this is a necessary evil of our trucks. I'm in the middle of one right now. Doing a BD pusher kit. The carter was bad in the kit. Had to pull it out and do a bypass for now. BD is going to make the carter good though.

Good luck, Matt

Thumbs up

I let let the fuel tank get down to 1/4 full then jacked up the front and supported with big jackstands to keep from getting a diesel shower when I cut the steel fuel line. Leave enough rubber line on both sides of the lift pump so you can pinch'em with vicegrips for a dry pump replacement down the road.
