which gauges are better? i'm looking into getting gauges and want to do it right the first time and match the gauges with each other and want them to look factory matched. i'm gonna get pyro, boost, fuel, and rail press. 2 on the pillar and 2 on the steering column. anybody have experience w/ any of these.

thanks

I have the Performax gauges and I like them. They are great to deal with too. I had an issue and they sent me a new part instantly. Install was pretty easy.

I believe the EV2 is matched to your factory gauges. That's what I'm using, look perfect.

I do remember that ISSPRO will put the EV2 pointers on the Performax lineup.

well i just wonder what the difference is as far as performance and ease of installation. with the performax gauges i guess you have to buy the contol module to hook them up, which makes buying those more expensive. my question is, is it worth it or not. are they pretty much the same or is one supposedly better than the other. or.........

worth every penny if you plan on more than 3 gauges, IMO

I personally like the Performax gauges better, as install is easier if you have more than the basic three gauges (which I do) as there are no amplfiers to deal with for each gauge, just the one control module. There is a lot less wiring to deal with in the cab also, which I am grateful for... It is slightly more expensive for just three gauges, but the expansion capablilties are very nice, and I also like the recall feature as well as the playback feature of the Performax. It really is a matter of preference though.

another vote for performax. i just got mine and they were doing a $100 rebate if you bought 3 gauges with the ECM, but it might have ended already...
