isspro amp boxes

i have two isspro tranny temps gauges- hot and cold. over the past four months i have had several amp boxes replaced due to them being faulty!! finally, diesel manor had me deal directly with isspr tech dept. back at the beginning of july, isspro told me it would be august before they had any new amp boxes in- they are made overseas (go figure) and the compnay was on strike!! isspor tech dept called me yesterday to let me know their shipment of amp boxes came in!! he also went ahead and told me that out of the several hundered they recieved- only half of them tested good!!!!!!! just wanted to pass this info along- because i am sure i'll have more problems down the road-along with other members- so, we'll now know why these amp boxes keep going bad! probably made in china and only half of the amp boxes test good- so, i would imagine some slip through to the customers, etc!! not reassuring i say!

rjm, if the tranny probe is in the test port, it will not read accurately. i went thru the same thing with diesel manor. i finally put it in the pan itself and it has been working great for the past 3 months. hope this helps.

Brought this thread back because I think Im having a similar problem. Finally hooked up the Isspro trans temp gauge I bought from diesel manor back in July and Im getting no reading. I flogged the truck for 30 minutes and the gauge never moved, the genos t-fitting that sensor is in is hot to the touch so I now the fluid was hot.

Did you just contact Isspro and send the old amp box to them and they sent you a new box?
