Which intercooler?

What kind of difference is there in the banks and BD intercoolers?

Price?

I don't know...I have a City Diesel Cool Twist.

It looks real nice...will not blow till 150 psi...etc etc etc.

However, if I did it again...I would not have replace my OEM metal one (unless it blew) or spent more for a Spearco. I SAW NO CHANGE in performance.

How about the others out there as well?? Can anyone come up with definitive info on an intercooler that has actually made a difference on their vehicle? Not just the "I got this and I like it" story.

I have the Spearco. Installed at the same time as twins so have no hard data about test results. I bought it for security when running 70 plus lbs of boost. It is a PIA to install though. Tim

I dont think I noticed any difference with the banks but I also installed the edge at the same time.

Everyone told me it wasnt gonna be a good purchase and that they only test it to like 35lbs or something like that when I bought it and I was just makin the most of my money at the time. I smacked a dear and needed a new one. You get all the piping and clamps and everything along with the intake for the same money as just the intercooler with most of them so I went with Banks. Was it a bad purchase? Only time will tell. But its holdin fine for me.
