which intake quad or trueflow?

I am ordering an intake within a week and narrowed it down to a quadzilla monster or a trueflow(non xdi). They are both relatively inexpensive $150 to $200. This is one of the reasons for picking these two. I know it ultimately comes down to preference but I was looking for a little input or experiences with these two intakes. Thanks!

i have the quad intake. but, the angle of the filter piping prevents you from using cool blue hose, or the are torque tubes. they will not line up. i found out the hard way, both times.

I wish I would have seen this before I bought mine. I had to rig up a bunch of PVC pipe to get it to hook up to the turbo. Not happy, not at all. What did you do to hook it up?

when i was running it, i used the factory 90* elbows, with an airraid intake piece that replaced the factory baffle assembly.
now it is sitting in the garage. it doesnt fit with twins.

How about this one from Mac performance. Dont see these mentioned to often on here.Fit is good and price is reasonable, looks awesome.Put an amsoil 6080 dry filter on it because the on from Mac was low quality.

I have the non XDI Trueflow and the psm cool air.....would do again in a heart beat.....just added the psm in the last 1k miles, so put 22k on just the trueflow kit...most with smarty....doesnt suck down the filter minter, no dirt in intake (foam oiled filters is typically what they use in offroad vehicles)....dont think you can go wrong.....
