Instant Hot Juice Problems?

I found with my Juice that if I didnt plug in the injector connectors until they firmly clicked I would get your same symptoms. I had codes for injectors open circuit though. Check your codes through the dash and see what comes up.

Omaha, if you read this, how did you make out with Edge? I was wondering if you could talk them into the other tune.

That guy's name you gave me is out of town until Wed. and no one else seemed to have a clue about anything other than standard programming.

anybody have any ideas??? i did notice that if i let my fuel tank get below a quarter tank that the truck pulls so hard going through the gears that i guess fuel slosh starves the fass. because the gauge will to to zero, but if i just stand on it in 6th for a while it doesnt. so the engine isnt sucking it down. filled it up to half and no problem.

Code P2146 is for injector bank #1 shorted. P0237 is for the boost sensor like you stated before. Both are plugs/wires that you messed with hooking up the edge. pull apart the connectors and look for spread sockets, dirty pins, tight connectors etc. you should be able to tug on the connector and it not come undone without unlocking the little catch. If Edge said the box was good, then I would bet it is connector related. They are pretty good about that stuff. Did you have your key on when unhooking/hooking up all that stuff? It will save them as historical codes and maybe your only active code is for the fuel system/FASS. Your best bet is to clear everything out and start over fresh. I would bet a quarter you find the problem in harness connections though.

Here is some reading on code 2146
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...highlight=2146

I would check the map plug - unplug and maybe some dielectic grease and then replug - for the 237 code.

As for then 628, I'm not sure. What is your fuel pressure? Do you have a gauge?

I would double check all your connections, and then check them again.

well i know there all snapped together well i know. the reason i sent the chip in is because after running it for 2 years on regular juice with attitude it set a map low code on my way to nashville and defueled the truck. that was the only prob i had ever had with it. so maybe theres a prob with my map connector
