Installed Lund Cold package today

Fitment was excellant and tooks minutes to install, also I left the backing material on the back to lessen the chance if any of scratching the chromed grill...

again very nice product

Hey, I dont suppose you've got a factory bug deflector on your rig, too? I ordered the Lund cold-front but I noticed the bug deflector slightly overhangs the top of the grill openings. Hopefully I dont have to do any whittling the deflector.-Steve

Thanks for the Welcome, when I had my 01 I started a San Diego TDR group but had to move back to Indy.

TDR site is ok, but joining again NOPE, I donated money here instead instead of making one man rich.....Anyways,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I looked at my truck and there is maybe a quarter inch at the top of the Lund C-F to play with, maybe,,,,,,

I would either move it down to the next grill slot or drill 3 new holes to move it down for what you need.

BTW, no bug shield

My lund cold front is on backorder form summitt. Bad time of year to decide I needed one. Did you get stainless or polycarb? I went cheep/poly. ( Well I guess I could have done the cardboard thing.)

Oh, by the way, welcome to DTR!

Just put the cold front on my truck. If your bug deflector wraps around the top of the grill, you probably will have to trim an 1/8th of an inch off the top of the two upper grill sections. I gently passed mine through a bench grinder to accomplish this. Worked great.

Lund accidentally Sent me a 88656 Dodge SSCF its a stainless steel cold front for a 02-03 Full sixe Ram (honeycomb grill). I was all excited to install it took it out of the box, poped my hood and then I said wow this is not the right size

.

They finally sent me the corect one for my 99 but they forgot to send a call tag. If your interested I still havent called them to remind them about the call tag they promised me.

I just put the Lund (dark plexiglass) cold front on my truck. four pieces that attach to the factory grille pattern. I have the factory bug guard on the top of the grille, and black factory "eyebrows" on the sides.

Everything went on perfectly. my intake air temperature went up by 10 degrees.
