Injectors again!
My truck is such a woman. It recently has started to smoke (white) like crazy at every start up and has a intermitent ruff idle. I Just when I thought I was done, or at least thought it was time to start working for dual cp3s its back to the drawing board. Its crazy out of no where she will start to idle ruff and throw white smoke, at other times she runs ok. When shes warmed up she runs great, but will still ruff idle whenever. It must be an electrical issue with an injector, it would be almost impossible to dignose which one. SO I convinced the warden, and my saved money is going to cummins for 6 new injectors. Me and Tim will change the tips, or send them to Don. And I should be good for a very long time. I swear my truck was built on a friday and I just dont have the patience. But my Flux 3's on brabd new sticks, look out shes gonna roll!!

If it were mechanical Don could and would fix them no question, but due to the fact it comes and goes it is electrical and a major P.I.A. The injectors were in a bad installers hands and had not so great performance tips before Don ever got them, and he did alot of extra work to straighten them out. But now I truly believe its an electrical gremlin and would be very hard to pin point which one injector it is. But hey an extra set of sticks is a great thing to have. Trust me I have nothing but great things to say about Don, and Tim and if it were something that could be fixed it would be done no question. And I could be patient and buy 1 stick and switch one out at a time untill I found the bad one, but patience is not one of my virtues. So I think I will buy 6 new ones and be done and not have to worry again, and try to talk Don into making my 3's a little bigger .

The only problem I have is i have to tow for work from time to time, but I swear my 3's run as cool as stock, its crazy. I still need to hook up to a heavy trailer and see how warm my 3's get, but its winter time and I dont have any work .
