injector tools.......
injector tools.......
Anyone have injector puller and any other special tools needed to change injectors on a 3 rd gen they would be willing to rent/lease? I am in northern Indiana and just wondered if anyone around here would like some cash to offset the cost of these tools. I would also ask for anyone that has done it near me to help with the swap.Or how much should this cost to have done and where near me would install some of Don-m's injecters for me?

You dont need any special tools to do the swap.
The fuel connector tubes can be pulled out by hand and the injectors once the bolts are removed can be removed by a strong grip or by a screwdriver and they will simply pop right up.
The thread on TDR is nice but you dont need those tools.
I have been changing injectors on common rails since mid 2002.
