injector question

If someone just installs performance injectors alone, does the computer know of the change or would the truck perform just the same as with stock injectors?

And if you had a choice between performance injectors or a chip such as the Edge Juice, what would you buy and why? (Understanding that the Juice isn't available yet, but if it were.)

Can you go wrong with injectors alone? I've heard of the chips throwing codes, but do the injectors cause any problems?

No codes. Injectors are the most "Stealth" app. but are a little more $. The factory design is not very efficient. Extruded injectors flow better. Like porting and polishing a head.

What are the injectors of choice for most guys? And where's the best place to get them? Are they easy to install?

If you upgrade your injectors you have to run a boost fooler to prevent an overboost code. As far as I know on a third gen engine that means a box anyway. Most guys seem to be running Diesel Dynamics injectors. I have heard very good things about their products but I do not have any yet.

The last post I read regarding injectors was that the engine ran "rough" unless you are "in it." This is not personal experience just what was posted. I am curious myself. I want the best way to get my SO up to a HO. I do not want to void my warranty.

Well, I'm not sure I'm ready for a performance box yet. I only have about 36,000 miles on the truck. I don't wanna have to worry about voiding warranty. I was hoping that I could just put in a set of injectors and everything would be awesome.
If the injectors require a box, that's gonna take quite a bit more $$$'s than I have right now.
