Injector #5 Misfiring!

Code says injector #5 is misfiring. I believe I got bad fuel the other day (station said their tank was about empty -- told me this after I pumped).

I am familair with injector removal but how do I clean it? Would like to accomplish this without going to a dealership or repair shop if possible. Any suggestions?

if you are throwing a code for cylinder misfire then the solenoid is going/went bad. no way to repair it at home. needs to be replaced before the solenoid goes completely out and holds the injector open.

Remove the TST and try again. Seen it do that a few times. Don't just use the bypass plug, but remove all the connectors and try to isolate that it isn't just the TST causing your issue before you tear into it.

Yeah good point. I thought he was talking about the old group 1, 2, or 3 circuit group problem.

I still think it woiuld be a good idea to isolate it, before going thru the efforts to tear into it completely.
