the idle thing on the programmer?
on my bully dog programmer there is a thing to raise the idle?

whats that for? any good for anything?

It enables the "high idle" controlled by the cruise control for cold weather warm up.

You can set it to high idle so long as the programmer is still attached. It's good for PTOs and cold weather idling if you don't want to wait for the factory high idle to kick in.
