Idaho CTD twins going in my RIG
I wonder how the Quad STD box and a set of Flux 1.5's with towing twins, and of coarse a GDP lift pump setup would do? The new module should make it adjustable maybe. For reliability reasons I would think mild would be better. I was just wondering. I have had modified vehicles before and they can be a pain in the rearend so to speak. I was just curious if anyone has gotten good results by going with less fuel. Reliability towing horses is in upmost importance. Pulling a big grade at 23,000 GCVWR is a pain because it is hard to keep the EGT's down without lifting off the go pedal.
Those Twins did sound real good!!!!!!!!

6th gear at 45mph with larger tires is LUGGING it. i did said that i was not in the right gear to really take off.
if i am not at 1100rpm, these things really let loose fast, and that was with smarty only.

Good to know the "rest of the story" (apologies, Paul Harvey)
Wow, I take a 'lil time off and I miss all the good drama. I'll add to the love in... Scott's truck was a BIG part off my inspiration to build a mini monster truck. After all the reading I had the pleasure to meet him at the last BD show, he treated a total stranger(me) like a good buddy, helped me to get my lowly S.O. out of it's own way and lent me a programmer to run the dyno, then proceeded to help out all he could with answering questions and invited me onto his board, which is a whole lotta fun. Although he has had some bad times with Bob he got me into the Smarty and I haven't looked back. His whole team are a great bunch of guys and I can't wait to bump into you all again this weekend at the next show. With Camos' assistance I may venture into the pulling world next season too, with his help I am sure I will have a blast. Thanks for all the help Scott, and I look forward to seeing what 'Zillas truck is capable of now too.
That's cool man, your clutch should be begging for mercy! You 3 squirters sure have an edge. It'll be good to meet you this time, it's too bad you didn't make it up in the spring. I am curious to see if I can come close to matching my spring numbers with this rubber, I am +5" since then. If it is wet out, I don't know if the high hp trucks are going to be able to show what they really have too.
ha ha ha brett. 600 is a LONG way from 540, and just twins will not get me there.
