My truck has been averaging over 19MPG hand calculated since I went over 20K miles. Around 10K it leveled out and starting going up slower, but 19MPG is a good truck in my book. I can regularly get over 700 miles per tank outta my truck. I would think with a little programming and opening up the exhaust some I should be able to push it over twenty. Scotty

I have 1500 miles on my 07 and average 16-18 mpg at 70 -75 mph. My 2nd gen Q-cab (02) was good for 18-21 depending on driving habits.

I have averaged 16.5 over the first 7700 miles of Optimus' journeys. 15% towing, 70% highway (@ 75MPH) and 15% city.

The best I have gotten is 18.5. 100% highway, cruise set at 64 mph. Overhead reads 2.2-2.7 high on every tank. If I drive the truck like I like to drive , very heavy footed, stoplight racing anyone who is willing, I get about 12.5 hand calc, overhead will say 14.5.

I have 6000 miles on the truck, have been playing with different additives and did notice about a 1-1.5 gain with power services silver. Did not notice much difference with Howes, but the truck is a little quieter.

I am happy if I get 400 miles between fill ups. Fill ups usually take 27-29 gallons. I have not done the tank vent mod...yet.

When I was driving across the desert I drove 85 or so for close to 200 miles and the mpg went down to 11.

This truck is way more temperamental than my 2002. It got about 16-17 mpg no matter what I did to it. This one gets horrible mileage if I romp on it very much.

Only three fill ups so far and they were ~14, 16+, and 15.5ish. I hope it goes up.

At 25000 miles, keeping it at around 2000 rpm (70mph), tires aired up, unloaded, and above 50 degrees I get 22 mpg. There seems to be a steep mpg cliff above 2000rpm and below say 40 degrees. The worst I got on a tank was 15 mpg in below zero weather with plenty of stop and go and idling. The overhead indicates about 3 mpg lower than actual. Driving is typically 80% highway.

The 6 speed gets worse on the highway especially with stock tires.. the gearing is just to low. Check the high MPG postings and they are usually an auto.

A 6 speed getting 2000 rpm at 70 does not have stock tires. Taller tires help.

I have 14K on my truck.... 20.8 MPG on my last fill up (244 miles) that's using my GV Overdrive and stock tires. Hills and studded tires. I have averaged 18-19 MPG Lowest was 15 some light towing and plowing. I have a log and hand calculate.

G56 with stock tires (SRW) w/o using the splitter I get 16 MPG at 70-75 MPG Using the 22% overdrive I gain 3-4 MPG. (on the highway at 65-72 MPH)

At 75 I start to drop MPG...

This is a 4x4 Standard cab with a ARE cap. 20.8 MPG was using Smarty on #9 Wild Torque Management.

My overhead likes to mess with me. At approx. 68-70mph it says 22 mpg But in reality, I was getting around 17. 18 at best on the highway....but I just filled up yesterday and hand calculations show 20 mpg ! Mostly highway and easy on the throttle.

I usually gun it on the on ramps, etc to blow it out then go back to 70-74 mph. I have 5200 miles so far.
All stock with a Leer cap.
