Did you buy your 06' new or used? There was a lot of controversy around 2009/2010 with dodge updating your ecm without your knowledge. Probably been doing it longer than that. I forget what they were doing at the time but I steered clear of the dealer at all costs. I believe MADS may have incorporated some of the controversial load because I DIDN'T have the horn issue until after I loaded 5.12a. Smarty affects the key on counter why can't they affect something like the horn??? Scared the crud out of me the first time it happened! I went back to stock and it was still there. I'm convinced Smarty can/did leave changes in my stock programming. I bought my truck new, opened the door when backing up to my trailers every time, horn NEVER went off until I loaded 5.12a.
