I know I know Recon related. Sorry.

I dont have to go back to work till the 27th so my GF gave me a Christmas present early so I could have a few days to install my new Recons. Im gonna need days to do this it looks like. I have searched and used the DTR WIKI and Im still not convinced that the measurements for the holes are right, atleast to mine and my GF eyes. What is there yall could tell me that might help.

I made a template that I found directions on another forum, but Im not sure where to lay it out. How did yall do yours? Thanks and have a Merry Christmas.

Tell me what your measurements are and I'll go out and measure mine. It's a 2004.5 Quad Cab Dually. I'd think they would be the same.

I am in the same boat as you. I decided to get a body shop to do mine. Should be in on Wensday or Thrusday. I figure let someone with experience do it.

Yea they are some local boys that do some good work. One of the advantages of having a local DTR chapter I suppose. I'll probably take them out to eat or a case of beer cause they have been super-helpful. I couldnt imagine asking $200 for 1.5 hours of work. I actually dont play Halo online anymore, just with some friends when we get a chance. Just kept the name for all the diesel sites I am on.

Well Im gonna start drilling in a few minutes wish me luck. I go them lined up by using painters tape on the cab and then making my marks on it, much easyer than I thought it would be. Drilling holes in the cab of a perfectly good truck.{{{{CRINGE}}}}}}

if the 3 inside light were evenly spaced wouldnt it 17", 26" 35" with those numbers one is 3/4" difference "17 3/4" in centers?
my truck is a little wider than 52" so i adjusted accordingly and measured from both ways so if i was off i did not keep magnifying across the board.

Roger that 17 3/4, 26 and 35 dont make good math, but they look right. I got them on and installed my LED cup holder light also. The drilling wasnt tooooo bad just got it done then layed down silicone and plenty of it. I love the way a black truck looks with smoked chickens on it. Ill get the camera out and post em up. Merry Christmas.
