Aftermarket headlights

Anyone have any pics of them on your truck?

All my driving is at night now and I desperately need better lighting.

A lot of different "projector" type lights on Ebay.

Any opinions?... about anything?.....

Put some HID's in them the projectors are ugly imo. I like the nightrunner style and too me with the HIDs it is a night and day difference compared to the projectors.

Dynomite diesel has them on their website for sale they are off the diamler limited edition srt 10 nightrunner pickups. But do a search for DIY nightrunner headlights. But the HID bulbs can be picked up from any local auto parts store for less then $50 and will put out just as much light as the projectors.

lol.. hid look alike wana-be blue tint bulbs.
tinted bulbs make the bulbs look whiter, and giving the false impresion of more light. its a proven fact the colored coating REDUCES the actual light output.

my truck isnt to bad as far as lighting. Narva +30 9007's (clear) and Narva allweather 9005's in the fogs.

under exposed several steps.

auto exposed.

several steps underexposed

auto exposed

theres several local guys w/ 3rd gens that have ridden with me, several of them have high wattage bulbs and or extra lights. all have comented mine outperforms there setups, and have had be get them bulbs.

the only thing i would posably change , if i lived in a dryer climate where wet weather lighting was so important, would be to use 9011 bulbs in the fogs. there hard to find and not much info out there.

I bet passing motorists enjoy getting bright lighted by your setup gus. Yellow halogens work good for me.

Gus...How did you put the 9005's in your fog lights? With something like a Brite Box Fogzilla kit?

belive it or not, i have in 3 years only been flashed twice, they are aimed corectly. but yes, "flash to pass " is quite efective.

search for "fogzilla 9005", the link to the web page is dead, but theres a ton of wright ups. basicly you grind the 2 ribs out of the inside of the bulb socket, then trim a tab. it takes abot 10 seconds per bulb with a dremmel.
