I didn't say that your suggested equation produced 800hp, but dual pumps and studs and springs are part of an 800hp set up. What I said was that the mods you are suggesting are needed to support 800hp. They are not needed to support 600hp. Also, tell me where you get $600. For $600 he can go dual pumps and studs and springs? I want to buy from your supplier and installer. As for my o-ringed head, it didn't cost me a dang penny, but that's a whole other story. The only reason I did it is because I had planned on a different set up long term and it was done for free. My plans for the truck changed and at the point I'm at I would never have paid to have it done.

You know 20 years ago when 12 seconds was fast for a street car, everyone said that the car I was building needed a 4 bolt main block. I needed race rods. I needed a stronger transmission. I needed a heavier duty rearend. I built my car on a budget, spent 1/3 of most others, never had any trouble, and was faster than most of them. The point is I don't believe in waisting money to overbuild. Get what you need and call it good.

I know a truck with a 64 turbo that has no studs. My truck has no springs. A stage 2 cp3 will support over 700hp. Those are facts.
