No, I'm not selling. I'm just passing along information and throwing out another question or two.

I just ordered my Hypertech from Fourwheelparts.com. I like the factory safetys and the fact that my warranty will stay intact per the dealer. My plan is to stack it with the Edge Attitude if they ever get it done for my '03 SO. I figure the Hypertech will take me up to a stock HO. If it's anything like the TST, it might take me beyond the HO.

Has anyone dynoed a SO with a Hypertech? Probably not but I have to ask. Can I stack it with a Edge? Since it just plays with the ECM, I'm figuring I can. I am supposed to have it Tuesday at the latest but I won't get to it till Wednesday. I'm leaving tonight to go catch a few Tuna and Dorado. I might have to make another trip next week to try out the Hypertech with 10k behind me.

PS It's a 72 hour sale. If you don't have the money, remember, that's why they invented Credit Cards. Mine found a nice place on my Discover. It will probably end up costing more than the TST by the time I pay for it.

i didn't think hypertech or superchips had programers that work on the 3rd gen ecm's...?

I called 4Wheelparts and left a message. He told me they did. I hope the **** did not give me the one for the 5.9gas-o-crapper. Would not surprise me at all. He seemed to know a lot about the Diesels. He even spoke of waiting for the Attitude for the 3rd gens. We'll see.

Hopefully you didn't see 5.9L and assume it's the Cummins, cause Hypertech does make a chip for a 360ci (5.9L) Dodge Ram gasser. As far as I know, like the guys above stated, Hypertech doesn't make a chip for an 03 CTD. Unless it just came out...? -Steve

I did some checking and most sites including Hypertech's own site show no listing for 03 or 04 Diesel Dodges. I did find one that had a listing for it though. Who knows?
Let us know what happens.....

Just got back from fishing and gave them a call. No Bueno. Good thing is that for some reason it had not shipped. We'll see on that one. Guess we have to wait a little longer for it. If TST had not de-tuned theirs and made the gauge not look like a toy my kids would play with I might order that thing. The Attitude makes a good looking gauge but no go on that one. I hope us poor Kali 03 SO owners don't get left out in the dark. I might have to buy a new truck.

It's not just you Kali So owners. There's plenty of us regular SO owners too...
I believe the TST still makes the same power, it just doesn't all come on in an instant which is probably better for the truck. Their box is still rated at the same power level..
Hypertech does show a programmer for 2nd gen trucks up to 02. I haven't seen anyone here run one though.
