How to polish the wheels

I have these, I like to polish them out to a shine, instead of the dull look.
I know they have a clear coat on them, so I would need to remove that first, but how?
then what do I polish it with?

shewwwww............man your setting yourself up for more work than you realize. but to answer your question.......aircraft stripper will take the clear off. go look around at your local hardware store.

then its sand, sand, sand some more. I polished 2 sport bike rims once and it took me weeks doing it a few hours at a time.

I would leave them cleared. If you polish them you will be polishing them all the time. Every 3 or 4 months. More work on your hands than you will want. Bin their done that. No thanks.

hater!

I knew there were tons of us over here.
I think I am going to find someone local and see if they will shine them up.
After they are done, I can just re clear them

Aircraft stripper, then a little sanding. One week and you will have what you want. Just do it!

powdercoat them. You can get "Reflective Chrome" if that is the look you are going for..

My wheels were the same as yours

In Mirror Black.

Or you could sell those and buy a set of the polished stock ones. Then just keep em clean.
