I know some that have crap put on before the truck is taken off the lot. i waited about 4000 miles for an Edge EZ, then switched to BD.
just give her 1 or 2 thousand miles and you will be ok

Not saying this was a good idea or not.. (Probably Not!)
But I had a TST on mine at 600 Miles.. Played with 5/5 at 800.
10000 on the clock now and have had no problems!!

No need to wait any amount of time with intake and exhaust. I have about 1400 miles now and my exhaust should be here tomorrow or the next day. No intake yet. And I put my Xzillaraider on at 1200 miles. By the way, I tried the 100 hp setting for the first time today. Wow! The acceleration from 70-90 mph is amazing!

I burned up my 36k mi b2b warranty first. Had the Banks goodies on before 37k.
FYI: Engine really loosens up aroung 34k miles (mpg's increased by almost 2). Thats with full syn oil since 22k. 39k now and climbing 2-4k per month.

I put the exhaust and intake on at like 800 and have a FASS, FS2500, Optix gauges, and fuel vent ready to install in June when I get back from Japan.

Mine got a EZ at 700 miles... I look at it this way, I wanted to break in the truck with the same power that I planned on keeping it at... I really don't think it matters... I mean come on, the factory doesn't give you progressive hp during break in so it shouldn't really matter... a bigger issue is a good warm up and cool down..
Almost 50K on mine and no problems yet...

Intake, exhaust, turbo, chipped, stock fuel system gutted…by 500 miles.
With the benefit of hindsight, I will probably wait until I have enough miles on my next one to ensure I don’t have a lemon or major problems right off the bat and allow for proper break-in. Say 10,000 miles. No problems with this one mind you, it just wasn't the smartest thing to do. That will be hard though…….stock sucks.
